As I tell in the post entitled “My first crowdsourcing initiative”, a few months ago I launched a real crowdsourcing initiative for a furniture company from Valencia, Spain. This initiative has three main objectives:
- Experiencing crowdsourcing, tasting its pros and cons, etc.
- Collect data for a final paper that will allow me to get my PhD
- Help this furniture company to know what people thinks about its products
The initiative consists in tagging (with keywords) two models of chairs not describing them but expressing the personal opinion of the participant about each model.
As in any crowdsourcing initiative, there are some rewards: a discount for products of that company (15% off on any product) and to appear in a list of participants in which the participant can post a link to promote a personal website, the website of a company, etc..
If you want, you can help me to finish my PhD, apart from getting, only if you want, this 15% discount and the promotion of a web link through a list of participants (which will appear in this website).
To participate in the initiative you don’t need to give any personal information.
So far 210 people have participated. Do you want to try?
To participate in the initiative you don’t need to give any personal information.
If you want the 15% off, you will have to indicate your mail to receive a promotional code and the furniture company web address in which you will be able to use the discount. In any case, your email will be use for commercial purpose.
